Fifty spacious lightweight balconies
The Doktoren in Antwerpen is an 81m-high residential tower with 152 flats in 22 storeys.The building offers affordable 1 and 2-bedroom flats A commercial space has been developed on the ground floor to be used by the nearby ZNA hospital. Commissioned by Immpact Ontwikkeling, Microbeton produced lightweight balconies with hollow core and ferrocement for this high-rise building. A total of 50 lightweight balconies were retrofitted to the facade completely assembled using the slide-on system.
